Zhanguo Agate Pair

Zhanguo Agate is found in several places in northern China, and is a variety of volcanic agate with especially striking colour and patterning.

"Zhanguo" translates to "Warring States," so the name itself is a mixture of historical and cultural imagery, evoking antiquity, heritage and rarity.

When polished, Zhanguo Agate has a fiery, layered look, blending reds, yellows, oranges, pinks and purples with organic, flowing banding.

This stone is often described as a stone of strength, balance, and vitality. Its fiery red and orange tones are said to stimulate the root and sacral chakras; grounding energy while enhancing courage, confidence, and creativity.
